She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Willis F. Melvin Sr.; her parents, E. T. Brock and Lola Hill; her siblings, Gary Brock and Gail Lord; her son Willis F. Melvin Jr.; her grandchildren, Willis F. Melvin III (Trey) and Mallory Melvin; and her siblings, Jo Ann Swearingen and Stan Brock.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
