He is survived by: his wife Lisa Schell (Elisabeth Rypkema Harty); his children, Monica Schell Gamel (John), Thomas Harty (Cindy) and Daniel Harty; his siblings, Steve Schell (Sharon) and Laura Schell Somerville (Dan); and his grandchildren, Mason Womack, Trentley Gamel, Kalley Gamel and Jakob Gilbreath. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
