He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Spivey and Mary Gulledge Spivey; his siblings, Preston, Winston Spivey and Faye Spivey Casey; his former wife Glenda Faye Spivey; his stepdaughter Ginger Leigh Redmon; and his son-in-law Alvin Redmon.
He is survived by: his wife Ginger Brown Spivey of Ponce de Leon, Florida; his daughter Rhonda Tarvin (Steve Tarvin) of Opelika; his grandchildren, Keith, Dustin and Kaley; his daughter Leslie Landers (Jack Landers) of Baltimore, Maryland; his stepsons, Shon Edwards (Kyra Edwards) and John Edwards (Kristian Edwards); his brothers, Glenn Spivey, Frank Spivey and Larry Spivey; and his siblings-in-law, Clara Spivey of Louisville and Gerald Casey of Dothan, Alabama.. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even one great-great-grandchild.
