He is survived by: his father Sidney Randolph Land; his wife Peggy McVey Land; his daughter Peggy Ann Land; his granddaughter Olivia Nehring; and his siblings, Marita Forbes (late John Forbes) of Hickory, Marilyn McDaniel of Jacksonville, Zita Ipock of Milton, Rosemary Haithcock (Michael) of Lynchburg, Virginia, David Land of New Bern and Gregory Land (Deanna) of New Bern. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
