He was predeceased by: his parents, Nona Ruth Higginbotham (James) and Harry Dale Williams; his brother-in-law David E. Smyers; and his stepmother Judith Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his sister Sandra Bichsel (Allen); his mother-in-law Nancy Hall; his sister-in-law Sallie Smyers; his nieces, Zara and Mollie Heffner; his nephew Wyatt Smyers; his father-in-law David W. Smyers (Donna); his brothers-in-law, Tim Breckel and David Breckel (Angie); and his niece Courtney.
