She is survived by: her children, Amin Simmons (Manson) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Gabi Simmons of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Aisha Simmons of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; her stepchildren, Jessie Simmons, Marcus Simmons, Andre Simmons, Michael Jenkins, Tracy Blackhsheur, John Jenkins of Fort Walton Beach and Crystal Simmons of Houston, Texas; her children-in-law, Melanie Simmons and Jose Velez of Beaumont; her close friend Aletha Faye Snow; her grandchildren, Queonte Gray, Jose Velez, Jr., Ashanti Velez, Reggie Fain, Amin Simmons, Jr. (Man Man), Keundra Hagans (Tyrell) and Amina Simmons; her great grandchildren, Ashanti Hagans, Kedir of Washington and Jose Velez, III; her aunt Jewel Leach; her uncle Ernest Cooley of Detroit, Michigan; and her nieces and nephews, Suncura Cobbs (Londa), Nekita Robinson (Nink), Shelanda Duncan, Tyrone Mclain, Billy Smith, Marcus Findley (Jack), Altrise Taylor (Drum) and David Roberts. She is also survived by thirteen Grand nieces and nephews and twenty great-grand nieces and nephews.
