She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wingard and Agnes Addison; her stepfather James Frederick Addison; and her sister Beverly Wingard. She is survived by: her husband Timothy G. Verdi; her sons, David T. Verdi and Richard Jay Verdi; and her siblings, Jimmy Addison, Terry Addison, Pete Wingard, Danny Wingard, Doug Wingard, Steve Wingard and Stacy Tillman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
