He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn L. McGill and Sara E. McGill; his brother Joseph McGill; and his son Benjamin McGill (Army). He is survived by: his wife Edith "Edie" McGill; his daughters, Celina French (Andrew Rottinghaus) and Amanda Pinfold (Ross Pinfold); his brother Stephen McGill; his grandchildren, Drew French, Ryan French, Benjamin Pinfold and Olivia Pinfold; his nieces, Shelly O'Bryant Dixon and Stephanie Triplett; and his nephew Jonathan McGill.
