He is survived by: his children, Mary Caskins (Craig) of O'Brien, Richard Matthews (Teresa) of Fort White, Jody Matthews (Brenda) of O'Brien and Adam Matthews of O'Brien; and his siblings, Barbara Ezell of Arkansas, George Matthews (Marian) of Tallahassee and Tom Matthews of Tallahassee. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
