It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Mock of Fort White, Florida, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Counce and Beatrice Feagle Counce. He is survived by: his wife Mary S. Mock; his children, Ernie Mock (Mary "Sissy"), Drew Mock (Sharon) and Kathi LaCorte (James); his sister Helen Cason; his grandchildren, Jennifer Forsgren (L. J.) of Durham, NC, Kelli Adkins of Durham, NC, Chelsea Dochterman (Joey) of Durham, NC, Heather Jewell (Bruce) of Durham, NC, Erin Boyd (Shaun) of Durham, NC, Caitlyn Doctor of Durham, NC, Stephen LaCorte of Durham, NC and Chloe LaCorte of Durham, NC; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Liam Forsgren, Malachi Davis, Lizzy Jewell, Nate, Evie and Charlotte Boyd.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, for those attending the services, CDC guidelines must be followed.
