He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Fettinger and Kenneth Gerald Fettinger; his wife Janet Fettinger; his son-in-law Chris Ammons; and his brother Jerry Fettinger.

He is survived by: his children, Vincent Fettinger (Dana) of Roswell, GA, Rodney Fettinger of Pensacola, FL, Stella Cass (Brian) of Alford, FL and Santana Ammons of Alford, FL; his siblings, Jim Fettinger (Donna) of Mexico Beach, FL, Mary Lou Hess of Bayou George, FL and Jo-Ann Everett of Vero Beach, FL; his sister-in-law Barbara Fettinger; and his grandchildren, David Mayo (Noelle), Grace Fettinger, Garrett Fettinger, Kenlee Ammons, Caden Ammons and Kash Ammons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
