He was predeceased by: his daughter Anna Young; and his sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Wheeldon and Marian Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jeri Young; his children, Connie Newsome (Greg), Theresa Bergmann (Jeff) and Mike Young (Susan); his grandchildren, Andrew, Angela, Jessica, Melissa, Christopher, Alli, Kelly and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Will, Cadence, Memphis, Braxton, Henry, Millie, Holden, Haddie, Brookes and Maddie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace (18005 Lazy Ln, Fountain, FL 32438).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace, P.O. Box 213, Fountain, FL 32438, with signage indicating the contribution is in memory of Robert Young.
