He was predeceased by: his parents, Burgess Taintor Cumbie and Audrey May Chittum Cumbie. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Cribbs; his son Wesley Edwin Cumbie; his stepdaughter Alannia Benson; and his siblings, Michael Cumbie, Allen Cumbie, Diane Sheppart and Nancy White. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Seminole Community Center (1470 Cedar St, Niceville, FL 32578).
