Joan Kendall Bell Obituary

We announce the death of Joan Kendall Bell of Freeport, Florida, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 93. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Kendall and Ralph Kendall; her husband Carl Everett Bell; and her grandchildren, Megan Crystal Gervais and Gabriel Blair Gervais.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Diane Gervais, Kelli Lynn Akers (Johnny) and Lisa Anne Lawless (Floyd); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Cherise Delangis, Benjamin Daniel Gervais, Justin Ray Lawless, Ryan Grady Lawless, Andrea Nicole Poole and Kendall Kristine Miller. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Episcopal Church in Santa Rosa Beach or Caring and Sharing of South Walton.
