With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Faye Duncan of Freeport, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Tolbert Jinright and Margaret Nix Jinright Fields; and her brother Ronald Blake Jinright. She is survived by: her husband Carlos Duncan; her children, Mark (Sherry Roberts) of Tallahassee, Robin R. Roberts of Freeport, Scot Roberts of DeFuniak Springs, Carla (Milton Purvis) of Corrigan and Robert Duncan of Corrigan, Texas; her grandchildren, Josh Duncan, Byrd Purvis, Jeb Roberts, Leslie Dixon, Nikolis Roberts, Darrian Roberts and Jay Purvis; her great grandchildren, Brandon Emerick and Duncan; her sisters, Lynn Stone (Bill) of Troy and Elizabeth "Libby" Reid (Heindrick) of Freeport; Gloria Jinright of Eufaula, Alabama.. She is also survived by son and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home (150 FL-20, Freeport, FL 32439). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
