He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Cotton and Mollie Cotton; his wife Mary Cotton; and his brothers, Crawford Cotton, Bo Cotton, Lou Cotton and Bill Cotton.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Pennington of McLean, Virginia, Linda Bastien (James) of Frostproof and Dr. Jeffrey Cotton of Pompano Beach; and his siblings, Ruth Cavanaugh (John) of Frostproof, Lilli Black (Bob) of Minneola, Betty Sellards (David) of Clermont, Patricia Lanier-Niles of Jacksonville and Frank Cotton (Sarah) of Natchez, Mississippi. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home (196 Hwy 630 E, Frostproof, FL 33843).
