She was predeceased by: her son Gene Earl Dorsey; her husband Gene I. Dorsey; her sibling Pat McDaniel; and her parents, Grady McDaniel and Pearl Fillingim McDaniel.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Dorsey, Lisa Dorsey, Lake Wales and Melinda Dorsey Gravley; and her siblings, Joyce McDaniel Schaeffer, Cleveland McDaniel and Sandra McDaniel Blankenship. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great -grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Jehu Cemetery (436 Jehu Rd, Wewahitchka, FL 32465).
