We announce the death of Elizabeth Chaney of Fruitland Park, Florida, who passed away on September 17, 2026. She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Merlin Gatlin; her sister-in-law Jackie Chaney; and her brother Johnny Swails. She is survived by: her fiancé Steve Pennington; her sister Betty; her brother-in-law Tommy Griffin of Tifton; her brother John Allen Chaney of Red Wing, Minnesota; and her nieces and nephews, Leila Hodges, Dana Flanders, Penny Himes, Kimberly Fields, Linc Griffin and Jon Chaney.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
