He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Lawrence and Betty Sue Lawrence (Crosby); and his brother Marcus Clyde Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lawrence; his children, Rhonda Kay Lawrence and Grant Cecil Lawrence; his grandchildren, Miranda and Bryce; and his sister Melva Unger.
