She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Monroe Johns and Montine Palmer Glenn; and her husband John C. Underwood. She is survived by: her children, Scott Underwood (Kim) of Ft. Meade, MD and Amanda Carter (Will) of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Josie Boyd, Brock Underwood (Pam), Jake Underwood, Kyle Underwood, Curtis Hines and Kale Hines; and her siblings, Robert Johns (Rhonda) and Wanda McFarland (Jeff).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home (176 Hand Ave W, Pelham, GA 31779). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
