It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Alan Barnes of Gainesville, Florida, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father William Barnes; and his grandparents, Forrest Barnes, Coyce Thomas Barnes, Elbert Wedgeworth and Lena Smith Wedgeworth.

He is survived by: his mother Lillian Barnes; his sisters, Tina Bazor (Mark) and Tammy Harris (Brian); his nieces and nephews, Britney Zuccarrini (Josh), Hannah Easley (Eddie), Cory Gill (Jessica) and Matthew Gill; and his aunts, Libby Geraci, Grace Adams, Virginia Rainey and Nina Hinton. He is also survived by one great-niece; three great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Carterville Baptist Church Building Fund (select 'Master Plan' as the purpose at the following link: https://www.aplos.com), or to a charity of your choice.
