She was predeceased by : her husband Ralph J Gums; her parents, Clarence Kanter and Louise Kanter; and her brother Gordon Kanter. She is survived by : her children, John Gums (Ivey) of Gainesville and Ann Zitzke (Al) of Friendship, WI; her grandchildren, Tyler Gums (Amy), Aaron Gums (Sara) and Allison Zitzke; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Gums and Noah Gums.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Becker Funeral Home (806 W Minneola Ave, Clermont, FL 34711).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Abiding Savior Lutheran School in Gainesville, Fl.
