She was predeceased by : her parents, James Ellis and Betty Rush; and her brother Milton Ellis (Ronnie Ellis). She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Ivey of Gainesville, FL and Keneka Ellis-Porter (Larry Porter) of Archer, FL; her grandchildren, Lyric Ivey, Isaac James, Ieshia Ellis, Ivy Porter, Isaiah Porter and Latrell Porter; and her siblings, Kimland Hardy (Derrie Hardy) of Tampa, FL, Jacqueline Gibson (James Gibson) of Los Angeles, CA, Yolanda Rush-Sanders (Zana) of Atlanta, GA and Michael Rush of Gainesville, FL. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fairbank Church of God (6901 NE 57 St, Gainesville, FL 32609).
