We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2025, at the age of 70, David Scott Wofford of Gainesville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ralph "Scottie" Wofford; his wife Helen Hodge; Edith. He is survived by: his children, Jefferey Wofford (Amy), Zane Daniel Wofford (Janis) and Jessica Peña-Wofford (Yanira); his grandchildren, Dylan, Caron, Logan, Henry, Heidi and Zane Stirling; and his siblings, Jean Ann Foxworth and Thomas Wofford.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
