He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald William Heysel, Sr. and Jean Welker Heysel; and his daughter Julie Christina. He is survived by : his wife Robin Heysel; his daughter Laura Heysel Knight; his son-in-law David Knight; his daughter Katherine (Katie) Marie Heysel, his siblings, Janice Heysel Hinson and Joel; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Hinson and Rachel Heysel. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
