Dorothy J. Dennis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy J. Dennis of Gainesville, Florida, born in Hancock, Michigan, who passed away on November 5, 2022 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy J. Dennis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Irving Yoohs; and her brothers, Robert (Dorothy) and Donald (Marilyn). She is survived by: her granddaughter Jane; her children, Terry Dennis of Hancock, MI, Donn Dennis and Jane Dennis (Antonio David); her sister Carol Kirkish of Seattle, WA; and her husband Phil. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In honor of Dorothy, the family asks that any memorial donations be directed to the Hancock First United Methodist Church, 401 Quincy Street, PO Box 458, Hancock, MI 49930, or to the charity of their choice in Dorothy's name.
