Eleanor Jean Burns Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Jean Burns (Gainesville, Florida), who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Paul J Walters and Julia Bartovich Walters; her husband Robert J Burns; her daughters, Alicia Davis (Ron) and Amber Hipp (Bill); her grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Katherine Hipp Vasquez (Jesse), Kelli Hipp and Kimberly Hipp; and her great grandchildren, Lillian and Mae Vasquez.

“I am so sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. I took her Quilt in a Day class when she was in Honolulu way back in the early 1990's and made a lovely cherished quilt. I also have her Sew Straight. She was a wonderful, bubbly person whom I will never forget and will always remember and thank for the great lessons she taught me. She will be missed.”
