She is survived by: her son Milton Bernard Coney, Jr. (Raven) of Gainesville, FL; her grandsons, Milton Jr. and Mehssyuh Coney of Miami, FL.; her siblings, Freddie Dexter (Verlie) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Vernon James (Shirley) of Houston, TX, Willie Jeff James of Gainesville, FL, Lorenzo James (Gladys) of Gainesville, FL, Ronald James of Gainesville, FL, Kenneth James, Sr. of Gainesville, FL, Kenneth Whitehead of Gainesville, FL, Darryl Whitehead of Gainesville, FL, Lucille James of Gainesville, FL, Ramona Gaile James of Gainesville, FL, Vetrice Allen of Gainesville, FL, Cheryl Williams (Berlin) of Atlanta, GA and Kimberly James of Rochester, NY; her aunt Jessie Mae Robinson of Gainesville, FL; her nieces and nephews, Brandy Coney of Decatur, GA, Erin James Robertson of Gainesville, FL, Lorenzo "Toot" James, Kwone Robinson and Kamari James of Gainesville, FL; and her grandchildren, Fabian, Phillip and Nasir of Miami, FL. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery (401 SE 21st Ave, Gainesville, FL 32641).
