He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jones and Lottie Mae Matthews Jones; his daughter Cindy Scott; and his great grandchild Alexis Maduro. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Johnson Jones of Archer, FL; his children, Karen Poole of Gainesville, FL and Gerald "Lee" Jones, Jr. of Archer, FL; his sister Hazel Shivers (Ed) of Lakeland, FL; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Misty, Michael, Daphne, Meghan, Scarlette and Nicole. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
