He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn McLaughlin (Wright); and his brother Robert McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Flora McLaughlin (Turner) of Gainesville; his daughters, Vicki Lane (Jamie) of Birmingham and Tammy Loeffler of Gainesville; his siblings, Charles, John McLaughlin and Dorothy Perry; and his stepchildren, Robert Johnson, Donna Whitehead, Tina Williams and Michelle Roy. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
