He is survived by: his mother Felipa Rosa; his wife Nereida Madera; his children, Francisco Garcia Madera of New York, Gwendolyn Garcia Madera of New York, Elizabeth Garcia Madera of New York, Samuel Garcia Madera of New York and Bethsaida Garcia Madera of Vieques; and his siblings, Cristobal Garcia Rosa of Puerto Rico and Edelmira Garcia Allenda of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends.
