He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Pomar-Alvarez and Julio Cesar Pomar; and his brothers, Mario Romero Alvarez and Fernando Romero Alvarez. He is survived by: his wife Carla Hotvedt; his sister Maria Elena; and his children, Monica Marie Pomar, Alexander Mario Pomar and Jacob Samuel Pomar.
