He was predeceased by : his parents, Lang Pons and Evelyn Pons (Dowling); his wife Wanda Pons; and his brothers, David Pons and Donald Pons.
He is survived by : his brothers, Albert Pons (Addie) of Melrose and Michael Pons (Donna) of Alabama; and his sister-in-law Doris Pons (Georgia) of Hinesville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
