He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Grice Hughes Swain and Andrew Swain; his aunts and uncles, Pearl Boyd, Helen Hughes, Elnora Hughes, Eddie Hughes, Ivory Hughes and George Hughes; his siblings, Andrew Swain, Cecil Swain, Harold Swain, Ivory Swain, Johnnie Swain, Robert Swain, Willie Swain, Beatrice Reed, Hazel Moultrie, Lucille Swain, Sarah Love and Jacquelyn Hardwick; his grandson Abdul Miller; and his great grandchild Antwanna Swain.
He is survived by: his children, Leonard Frank Swain and Melanie Swain Jackson; his grandchildren, Frank, DeAndre, DreShawn, Andre, Sage and Imani; his great grandchild DeAndre; and his siblings, Eddie Swain, Charlie Swain, Alphonso Swain, Pearl Cole (Eugene) and Clara Watson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
