She was predeceased by: her parents, Mario Perez Acosta and Isabel Garcell Calzadilla; and her son Mayo Ripol. She is survived by: her children, Miguel Ripol (Annie Sanchez), Maria Ripol (Jim Hobert) and Cami Ripol (Scott Montgomery); and her grandchildren, Marisa, Diego, Wilough and Chabela.
