He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Linda Mallard; and his son Robert James Mallard. He is survived by: his sons, Norman James Mallard, Jr. (Maria) and Michael Lawrence Mallard; his close friend Angela of Fort White, Florida.; his grandchildren, Michael Lawrence Mallard, Jr., Audrena Kay Mallard, Marina Kay Mallard and Miranda Violet Mallard; and his stepgrandson David Mendoza Machado. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
