He was predeceased by: his wife Melanie Day (Walter); and his parents, Paul Joseph Day and Edna Day Gilley (Markert). He is survived by: his children, Michelle Crocker of Gainesville, Michael Day of Savannah, Arlene McCreary (Clinton) of Palm Bay and Wendy Bingham (Warren) of Winter Garden, Florida. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
