He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodor Yackman and Julia Yackman. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Yackman (Pamela), Paul Yackman, David Yackman (Sherry) and Daniel Yackman (Holly); and his sister Anna Leitner of Fort Lauderdale. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and his spiritual brothers and sisters.
