Shannon Maureen Brumfield-Ashley Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 22, 2025, at the age of 78, Shannon Maureen Brumfield-Ashley of Gainesville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Fred Orlan Brumfield and Mary Kathleen Maloney Brumfield; her husband Dr. Robert Grady Ashley Jr.; her siblings, Mary Kathleen Davies and Fred Orlan Brumfield Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Keely, Courtney, Jennifer, Robert and Spencer; and her godson Jeremy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society, or the charity of one's choice in honor of Shannon's lifelong mission to help others.
