He was predeceased by: his parents, Ekaterina Margaritis and Efthimios Margaritis; and his siblings, Vassilios Margaritis (Eirini) and Kassiani Kladouxos (Panayiotis). He is survived by: his wife Antonia; his stepsons, Efstathios Raptis (Melina) and Christos Raptis; his stepgrandson George; and his brothers, Kostas Margaritis (Elizabeth) and George Margaritis (Soteria). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church in Thomas's memory.
