He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bickel and Ilo Bickel (VanKirk); his wife Jeanette D. Hensel (Nettie); and his sisters, Joyce Runkle and Sharon Humes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Dan (Mike), Tamara Awald (Matt) and Rebecca Windbigler (Brian); and his siblings, Randy Bickel (Buggs), Sheila "Short" Vanlue and Melody Bohna.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 334 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46536.
