He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hodges; his sisters, Evelyn Holland, Roxie Jones and Joyce Davis; his daughter Chyrli Brinkle; his daughter-in-law Marlene Smith; his stepson Jamie Mitchell (Keri); his grandchildren, JD Smith (Jessica), Ben Smith (Jennifer), Adam Smith (Amber), Christopher Mitchell, Ashley Bullard, Cindy Mitchell and Valerie Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Walker, Jordan, Blake, Scarlett, Willow, Miranda and Declan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macclenny Church of God. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Cemetery.
