He is survived by: his mother Maria Luisa Fernandez Mendez; and his siblings, Luly (Juan), Gaby, Mari (Manuel), Rosy (Harold), Humberto (Celia), Leonardo (Rosa) and Serafin. He is also survived by 14 nephews and nieces and several grand nephews and nieces, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
