He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Swanson and Margaret H. Swanson; his former wife Kay Rowe; and his sons, Steven A. Swanson and Douglas Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen M. Swanson; his sons, John R. Swanson (Greta) and William A. Swanson (Eliza Newbold); his stepchildren, Ramon Martinez (Edith) and Carla A. Martinez (Duane Ollett); his grandchildren, Marcus Martinez, John Soren Swanson, Katherin Sala "Sally" Swanson, Elsa R. Swanson and Annika C. Swanson; and his great grandchild Owen S Graf.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Family Home.
