She was predeceased by: her parents, George VanderSchoot and Jeanette Bergman VanderSchoot; her husband Louis Decker; and her sons, Allan and Gary.
She is survived by: her son Robert (Ann); her grandchildren, Sarah (Sean Davenport) and Annaliese (Alex Kerman); her son Dennis (Candy); her grandchildren, Shaun Smith, Crystal (Mike Trahan) and Tony Martin (Maribel); her daughter Janice (Dave Lanting); her granddaughter Catherine (Brian Torresen); her daughter Gail Ring; her daughter-in-law Agnes (Gary); and her grandchildren, Joseph Ferro (Misty), Regina (Whitney Bobbitt), Patty (Russell Hobby), Allan Decker (Melissa) and Renae Decker. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
