He was predeceased by: his parents, Maudeen "Deen" Skinner Miles and Otis Seabron "Grandaddy" Miles, Sr.; his grandson Nicholas Peaden; and his brother Otis "J. R." Seabron Miles, Jr. (Sharon). He is survived by: his children, Kim Peaden (Kevin), Jerritt Miles and Jonathan Miles (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Kelsey Peaden, Kade Peaden, Cole Miles (Jordan) and Mason Miles. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Assembly of God Church (1314 Bunker Rd, Graceville, FL 32440). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted, or those wishing to honor Gerald's memory may make a memorial contribution to Emerald Coast Hospice, 1330 South Boulevard, Chipley, Florida 32428.
