He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Kirkland and Katreeane Davis Kirkland; his former wife Brenda; and his brothers, James and Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Paula; his daughters, Jami Brown (Chris) and Kori Cailleteau; his sister Kathy Bruner; and his nephews, Jason Kirkland (Candice) and Jeremy Kirkland. He is also survived by several other nephews and nieces.
