She was predeceased by: her parents, Walford Sumner and Ethel Sumner; her husband Johnny B. Simmons; and her daughter Margaret Carnley. She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Byrd (Michael) of Graceville, FL and Johnnie Marie Pettis (Robert) of Wausau, FL; her siblings, Larry Sumner, Ronald Sumner, Donnell Sumner (Leighann) and Orby Sumner (Carolyn); and her grandchildren, Ashley of Jason, JD, Amanda, Jared, Hanna and Megan. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
