Gainer, Sr.; her siblings, Mildred Pittman, Petrolia Brown, Cleve and Willie Rhynes; her siblings-in-law, Irene Rhynes, Leron Hoover, Sr., Willie James Pittman, Sr. and Benjamin Brown; and her stepson Leo Gainer.

She is survived by: her children, Rhonda M. Gainer (Jeannifer), James D. Gainer (Jerrieta) and Brad B. Gainer, Sr. (Octasia); her sisters, Lois Hoover, Helen Bostic and Estell Snell; her sister-in-law Christine Rhynes; her grandchildren, Coyyar Aliyaha Brooks, Jada Olivia Gainer, Brad B. Gainer, Jr. and Olivia Elizabeth Gainer; and her stepchildren, Constance Alexander, Lois Thompkins, Ezell Gainer, Willie W. Gainer, Jr. and Howard Gainer.
