As Rodger departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rodger may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rodger leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Capps and Cathryn Capps; and his brother Larry Capps. He is survived by: his brothers, Kenneth Capps (Sue) and Mark Capps (Kay). He is also survived by 3 nephews; 3 nieces; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends.
This led him to working with N.A.S.A. on the Space Shuttle Program where he was recognized for his exceptional service and contributions to the success of the program.
